Set against the valley, Le Florida is a confidential Eden where you can live at your own pace, with a relaxed mind. Opening onto the gardens of the inn, bathed in light or with a view of the blue sky, the rooms and suites are extended by private terraces and, for some, Jacuzzis for two. Everywhere, a design infused with uncluttered rusticity, the great outdoors is so.
Day 2: Gers Discovery
The territory of the Gers is surprising. Let’s discover its cultural richness, and especially its gastronomic and wine heritage which makes its reputation. Let’s enjoy it !
Discover one of the most beautiful villages in France: Lavardens. We will follow our guide to this Gascon castle, a place full of history, a witness to the past and which was once the fortress of the Counts of Armagnac.
Afterwards, drive to Roquelaure, a small village north of Auch where Jean-Luc et Olivier will delight our taste buds with their products from the Gers region.
Let’s continue to the Domaine du Grand Comté, where Michel Baylac and his family will share with us their passion for 150 years: Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne. We are lucky enough to be able to taste these products from their estate.
Travelling south to Pavie, we will meet Julie and Cyril. They will lend you one of their 8 Huskies to go on a Cani-Rando to discover the Besmaux wood in good company.
Accommodation: Domaine d’Escapa
Then continue to Estipouy, in the south of the Gers, to spend the evening and the night in the unusual accommodations of the Domaine d’Escapa.

Day 4: Aspiring farmer
It’s time to enjoy the greatness of nature: the one that feeds us, the one that offers us breathtaking landscapes. From the countryside to the mountains, there is only one step.
Upon awakening, we will participate in the life of the Trencalli Farm by helping Stéphane in the daily tasks: participating in milking and cheese making. After the effort, the comfort: we will taste the products of the farm during lunch.
Take the road to the Hautes-Pyrénées and the Col du Tourmalet. From there, we will enjoy a breathtaking view as we take the cable car up to the Pic du Midi. Once on the roof of the Pyrenees, we will discover this place full of history, enjoy the view and venture on the suspension bridge.
Once back at the bottom of the mountain, we will enjoy dinner and spend the night at the Bigourd’in.
Day 5 & 6: Roaming in the Pyrenees: disconnection or reconnection?
Let’s embark on this crazy adventure: guided by experts, spending two nights and three days in the heart of the mountain, cut off from civilization, but connected to nature.
Today, let’s meet Delphine and Chris who will be our guides for the next adventure that awaits us. They will introduce us to Hermine, Josephine, Ebena and Edelie, the mules in charge of carrying all the gear. Once the introductions are made, we will leave for a three day and two night hike in the Pyrenees.
Experience the disconnection from the modern world to (re)connect with nature, meet the local flora and fauna, observe the stars, and taste the local products that the mules have carried.
Accommodation : Under the stars
