Day 1: Wine presentation
For this first day, there is nothing like an unusual discovery of the main heritage of Gaillac: the wine.
Let’s meet Christophe, our guide for this afternoon of cycling, who will lead us through the vineyards. We will stop on the way at a winery for a wine tasting to get a complete experience of the Gaillac culture.
Day 2: Along the Tarn
Let’s enjoy the richness of the Tarn : wine, the episcopal city of Albi and the magnificent landscapes from the Tarn.
Explore the historic winery of Domaine de Salette, and taste the wine that Francis I used to serve at his table.
Come and follow the guide through the alleys of the episcopal city of Albi, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site: the cathedral of Sainte-Cécile, the Berbie palace, and the historic center of Albi.
Let’s go on an adventure at the end of the afternoon with Charly, on the Tarn river on board our Stand-Up Paddle board, in an attempt to follow in the footsteps of the beavers and to enjoy the calm and soothing landscapes of the Tarn.
Day 3: To the adventure!
Discover a mainly rural department that has managed to preserve its identity in all authenticity: Aveyron. Through a visit to a farm and an unusual activity, you will quickly fall in love with this place.
Martine welcomes us to her organic farm to introduce us to her goats and make us discover the job of a shepherd. Let’s taste together the fruit of her work: cheeses and desserts made with sheep’s milk, home-made jam and other delights.
Jean-Paul offers us an unusual activity: let’s pedal, on board our velorail, along a railroad full of charm and mysteries, classified as a UNESCO heritage site, offering us breathtaking views of the Larzac valley.
Day 4: A vertiginous valley
Today will be placed under the sign of nature. Thanks to the privileged location of the Hotel de la Muse, let’s enjoy the beautiful landscapes and views.
The hotel de la Muse being in the heart of the natural regional park of the Grandes Causses, it is the ideal starting point for a hike, let’s plunge in the heart of a green valley, which will not cease to amaze us.
Let’s spend this afternoon relaxing and enjoying the hotel’s activities. Canoeing and fishing to continue the efforts, or relaxing and swimming to relax.
Day 5 : Our precious heritage
French gastronomy is one of our richest heritages. Let’s benefit from being there to get a taste of these flavors. I promise you, your taste buds will remember it!
Let’s visit together the Millau viaduct in an unusual way: aboard a canoe, let’s cross the rapids, let’s have a thrill and learn the secrets of this exceptional structure.
Let’s benefit from the know-how of the cheesemakers of the Roquefort cellars in order to discover the secrets of this famous cheese, before delighting your palate during a gourmet tasting.
Olive oil, known for its many virtues, is a real institution in the South-East of France. Accompanied by Sandrine and Sébastien, we will learn how to appreciate this product at its true value.
Day 6 : One last drink…
This tour has not finished surprising us… Between relaxation and sport activities, this last day will allow us to discover the last treasures of France.
Let’s start the day on the right foot with a calm and soothing moment, in harmony with nature. Whether it is during a session of intuitive yoga or equine mediation, the privileged contact with the horses of the domain is an invitation to relax.
Let’s say goodbye to Occitania with a walk through the vineyards. While observing the landscapes of the region, let’s discover the local winemakers, who will warmly welcome you in their domain around a glass of wine.
