ESCORTED TOUR - this tour
is based on 4 to 6 people travelling in a comfortable
minivan with an experienced, english-speaking driver/guide.
Accommodation is carefully selected bijou hotels, exceptional
guesthouses and chateaux. The itinerary is conceived to
let you discover a hidden part of France which only local
people can know. The advantage of such small groups is
that the tour
can be adapted according to the participants wishes.
Day
1 Arrive in Bordeaux. Settle into your
hotel and get used to the surroundings and the town.
Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Bordeaux
Day 2 Bordeaux / Châteaux
and vineyards of Bordeaux.
Start with a panoramic tour of the city
and admire the main monuments of the city of Bordeaux.
Your afternoon is dedicated to visiting the most famous
vineyards of the Bordeaux region. Wine tasting in some
of the most prestigious Châteaux of the region. Night
in Bordeaux.
Day 3 Arcachon / Dune du Pyla / Biarritz.
In the morning we drive to Arcachon, one
of the most popular sea resorts close to Bordeaux and enjoy
a cruise on the “Bassin”. After lunch,
off to climb the famous Dune du Pyla, the largest sand
dune in Europe and then head towards the charming and classy
seaside resort of Biarritz. Night in Biarritz.
Day
4 Biarritz / Villages of the Pays Basque / Pau
Our morning is dedicated to the discovery
of the Pays Basque. First, Saint Jean de Luz one
of the most charming port cities of the region and then
head towards the delightful little villages of Sare and
Aïnhoa which are classified 'most beautiful villages
of France'. Through Saint Jean Pied de Port, an authentic
and typical mountain citadel, we will then arrive in Pau
and Lourdes. Night in Pau.
Day 5 Lourdes / Toulouse.
On February 11th 1858 the Virgin Mary
appeared for the first time to young Bernadette Soubirous
in the little town of Lourdes. In the morning we will follow
the footsteps of Bernadette. After lunch depart for the
capital of the Midi-Pyrenees region, Toulouse. Renowned
for its aeronautics and 
space
technology the city is also the second largest in terms
of the number of students! Enjoy a panoramic tour of the
city and discover its main monuments. Night in Toulouse.
Day 6 Toulouse / Carcassonne
/ Aigues Mortes / Nîmes
Visit to Toulouse's interactive Space
center in the morning. Then en route for the medieval fortress
of Carcassonne classified as a UNESCO world heritage site
since 1997. Lunch. From there we go on to visit Aigues
Mortes, the eastern-most bastide located in the Camargue
region, before continuing to Nîmes, the roman city.
Night in Nîmes.
Day 7 Nîmes / Les Baux
de Provence / Lourmarin / Aix / Nice.
Today is one of the most outstanding days
for those who enjoy 
breathtaking
landscape and tiny authentic French villages. Whether in
les ‘Baux’, Lourmarin or Lacoste you’ll
be delighted by the unique natural scenery and the authentic
appearance of these villages. From the city of Aix we drive
through deepest Provence to arrive in Nice at the end of
the day. Night in Nice.
Day 8 Nice.
Free day in Nice to enjoy the balmy mediterranean air,
to stroll the Promenade des Anglais and discover
the Flower market.
Overnight in Nice
Day 9 Nice
After breakfast each of us goes our separate ways

Bordeaux :
Our 3* hotel is located right in the centre of Bordeaux in the heart of Europe's
largest pedestrian zone..

castle of Henri IV. It boasts extensive spa facilities, an excellent restaurants
and views over the town and nearby Pyrenees.
Toulouse :
3* hotel, situated in the centre of Toulouse, has recently joined the Holiday
Inn family. This 130 rooms hotel includes American-style amenities, a restaurant
and a bar.
Each room has a TV, a phone and air conditioning.
Nîmes :
Located in Nîmes, this hotel offers all the charm of Provencal village
life..
