Val-d'Isère, the famous ski resort,
is located in the Savoy 5 km from the border with Italy.
Val-d'Isère is most recognisable by its charming "chalet" architecture.
Along with nearby Tignes the area forms part of the « l'Espace
Killy ». Beauty aside, the combined ski domain
forms one of the largest ski areas in the world.
Surrounded by a vast skiing area, the « Espace
Killy » Val-d'Isère
is varied in its slopes and its levels of difficulty. The skiing area is shared
by Val-d'Isère and Tignes. The station also boasts modern ski lifts
