Well positioned at the centre of the island, it is an ideal
starting point for exploration either on foot or by bike.
The residence
100 m from the beach, the hotel residence Le Mail Plage
is open all year around, offering 64 apartments ranging
between
studios for 2 people to 4 roomed apartments for 10 people.
They are all perfectly fitted out: a fully equipped kitchenette
(mini oven or micro-wave, electric hob, fridge, dishwasher),
lounge with sofa bed, telephone, satellite TV (with supplement)
, tastefully decorated bedrooms, bathroom
with separate toilets (except in studios BAF-BAT) and an
extra shower in
the larger apartments.
Shared activities: lifts, private swimming pool, with sun
terrace, laundry room with washer and tumble dryer, car and
cycle park.
We
advise taking a bike as it simply the best way to visit
the island, its blue-flag beaches, bistros and country
lanes, while a car is necessary for visiting the mainland
attractions such as La Rochelle, the island of Ile d'Oleron
and the numerous markets.
We
recommend flying into Nantes or La Rochelle (Ryanair flights
from Dublin, Stansted and Shannon) and we will arrange
a hire car for you at the airport.
