by food-lovers everywhere for its distinctive contributions to French – and
universal – cuisine, Provence is a sort of culinary heartland
to which food pilgrims are instinctively drawn.
Our short break reveals the secrets of this magical place
and its unique cuisine through a combination of hands-on
classes with a top chef and accompanied
visits to places of culinary interest – olive oil producers, wine-makers
and local food artisans.
The venue is a 4* country hotel located south of Avignon
at St Rémy-de-Provence – easily
reachable by high-speed train or local airports Marseilles,
Avignon and Nîmes.
Programme
:
Day 1: Pick up hire car at your train
station or airport and drive over to the Hotel.
Settle in and explore the scented garden and estate.
Dinner

Hands-on cooking session with the chef in his professional kitchen
Lunch
Afternoon:
Outings with a private guide to places of culinary interest:
vineyards, olive oil mill or local biscuit makers where you
will learn about the creation of typical provençal
products. With plenty of tasting and sampling, of course!

The estate stretches over 15 acres of shrubs, herbs and trees.

with the beauty of the mythical olive tree will revive your senses.
Feel the warm provençal air as it sweeps through the pine trees.
You will be delighted by the pool and the Jacuzzi that fit perfectly into
this quiet and secluded place.
The
rooms
Every room is decorated in respect to the light. Warm and welcoming or bathed
in light, the room is set up in such a way to make it unique.
Clear
view onto the rocks to the east, towards the garden or on the
quiet terrace looking onto the pine wood, you will always feel

A gourmet restaurant which continually renews its creations according to
the chef's inspiration, the seasons, the garden produce or the market's offer.
Each dish is accompanied with a carefully chosen wine from the region or
further afield from France's many vineyards.
