Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Dordogne Valley and the French Perigord. Discover the architectural riches of Sarlat and the Pont Valentré in Cahors, one of the only military bridge left in Europe. Walk around the beautiful Imaginary Gardens as well as the formal French gardens of the Manoir d’Eyrignac.

Day 1: Bordeaux - St-Emilion - Sarlat
Arrival at Bordeaux airport or train station, pick up by a private coach.
Panoramic tour of Bordeaux and its historic centre, which is classified as UNESCO World Heritage site.
Transfer to St-Emilion. The village is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the centres of Bordeaux wine-making.
Transfer to Sarlat and settle in your hotel.
Welcome dinner & overnight in Sarlat.
Day 2: Sarlat - Gardens of Marqueyssac - Castle & Gardens of Eyrignac
Visit of Sarlat.
One of the renowned and visited towns in France, Sarlat is also one of the most attractive. Sarlat is a beautiful, well restored town a few kilometres north of the River Dordogne. The old town, with fine examples of architecture from both medieval and renaissance times, is a pleasure to visit, especially during the spring and autumn, or early in the morning. Don't miss the streets around the cathedral and the streets to the north of city-centre. You will soon become lost in the maze of narrow lanes, with something new to see around every corner.
Then you will visit the Gardens of Marqueyssac. Built on a rocky outcrop for the pleasure to walk, the park,divided into three main routes, overlooks the Dordogne valley.On the terraces of the castle, the ornamental garden displays rugs of box trees.
Your tour ends by the visit of the magnificient Gardens of Manoir d'Eyrignac where ou will discover a typical example of French formal gardens with perfectly manicured hedges and wonderful perspectives.
Back to Sarlat. Dinner & overnight in your hotel.
Day 3: Losse - Imaginary Gardens - La Roque Gageac
Today ou will visit the Castel of Losse.
Located 5km South of Montignac Lascaux (6km), in the direction of Les Eyzies (18km), Losse overlooks the Vézère valley. The medieval fortress erected on a spur above the Vézère river, is surrounded by high walls and a deep moat. Between 1570 and 1576 a Renaissance main building was built within the medieval stronghold.
Then, you will visit of the Jardins de l'Imaginaire (Imaginery Gardens)
Les Jardins de l'Imaginaire, a unique site in France and Europe, invites you on one of the most beautiful trips in the Black Perigord, in the heart of the ancient town of Terrasson-Lavilledieu, overlooking the valley of the Vezere.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat ride on board of an authentic Gabarre river boat, along the Dordogne river in La Roque Gageac.
La Roque-Gageac, beautiful village, ranked as one of the most beautiful villages in France, is nestled at the foot of high cliffs, in a loop of the Dordogne river. It has an almost Mediterranean climate.
Overnight in Sarlat.
Day 4: Water Garden - Cahors
In the road to Toulouse, stop in Carssac-Aillac to visit the Water Garden.
It's a real awakening of the senses spread on 3 hectares at the foot of the Dordogne river. Enter this Perigord Eden and taste its essences: hydrophobic leaves, multicoloured nympheas, Nil's papyrus... The lights' games, the waterfalls' lapping, the fishes silence, and the luxuriant plant colours, are as many elements that stops time.
Then, stop in Cahors, Here you can admire one of the only medieval military bridges left in Europe, the Valentré bridge.
Then, stroll with your guide through the historic city centre and discover the imposing cathedral with its famous tympanum.
Back to Toulouse to take your flight.
