Corsica wines are remarkable for their excellence. They are diverse and very typical of the region. Among the 30 different and typical grape types, 3 distance themselves from the others:
• The Sciaccarellu is part of the black grape types, typical of the granite Corsica. It gives a slight colour, it is light, slightly fruity and has a good conservation.
• The Niellucciu is this prestigious black grape type which gives very colourful and powerfull wines. This is the predilection grape type of the Patrimonio appellation.
• The Vermentinu is very famous in Spain and Portugal. It is a white grape type which gives a dry and fresh wine with amazing qualities. It is the unique white grape type wine of Corsica.
