. The Capitole: Current town hall and National Theatre, this building has 8 pink marble columns. The murder of the Duke de Montmorency happens in the Henry IV courtyard. The “salle des Illustres” was inspired by the Galerie Farnese in Roma.
. The Donjon (XVI century): It is the former Archives Tower or Consistoires Tower when the Capitouls had the power of the city. It has a little steeple of a Beffroi flamand style which is pretty unusual in a city where pink bricks and tile roofs dominates.
. Saint Sernin Basilica (XI century): huge roman building, it is a stage for the pilgrim towards Santiago de Compostella. You can discover and admire the XI and XII century tympanum in this brick masterpiece.
. Jacobins Church (XIII and XIV centuries): fully made of bricks this church is a real treasure of Languedoc gothic art. We can admire the amazing 22 nervure palm tree which support the polygonal choir, the cloister, the capitulary room, Saint Antonin chapel adorned of XIV century frescos and its refectory which welcomes exhibitions.
. The inner courtyard of the Bernuy Hotel is a superb Renaissance building which was built during the XVI century by a rich Pastel trader (flower which gave an indelible blue colour). This hotel has the highest octagonal staircase of the city.
. The Hotel Assezat courtyard: It is a wondeful XVI century hotel. It is the head office of the Académie des Jeux Floraux, which origins go back to 1323. It shelters the Bemberg Fondation which presents a collection of bronzes, works of art and paintings (34 Bonnat work of art).
