Day 1: Toulouse

Pick up at Toulouse Airport and welcome by your private coach & your guide.

Enjoy a walking tour of Toulouse and discover the main sites and monuments. During the tour, you will be able to discover French Gastronomy by visiting the important Victor Hugo Market, admire the Capitole, the actual City Hall and the National Theater are housed in this magnificent building on the square that has the same name. St-Sernin Basilica which is the largest Romanesque church in Europe and compulsory halt on the pilgrims' way to Santiago de Compostela. You will have the opportunity to admire and discover many churches and private mansions as well.

Day 2: Carcassonne - Sète

Pick up at your hotel by a private coach & your guide & check-out. On your way to Sète, you will stop at Carcassonne. The citadel dominates the old town and it is defined to be a town within a town, a maze of narrow cobbled streets within severe ramparts of thick walls and turreted towers, but it is bustling with life and color. Arrived to Sète, enjoy a walking tour of the city center and its singular, high culture in colour, the jousts, the fishing, painting, the gastronomy, its intimate and typical small places, its beautiful paths overhanging the Mediterranean Sea... Cruise along the beaches of the creeks and the Corniche and the beautiful beach of Sète... Discover the lido separating the Mediterranean Sea of the lagoon, strewed with vineyards and with former salters... Transfer to your hotel & check-in.

You will appreciate a gourmet restaurant for dinner.

Day 3: Sète Gourmet Tour

Join your private guide for an intimate and unique gourmet walking tour of Sète. Stroll the streets along the canals of the “Venice” of France. Taste some local French food as cheese and wine. Your culinary adventure will also take you to “les Halles” the harbour’s colourful and authentic covered market with the best fish, seafood and local produce. On the shores of the Thau Lagoon in the Quaint port of Marseillan, visit the Maison Noilly Prat to enjoy & share the knowledge of their Cellar Master. Taste their different Expressions & learn the art of cocktail making with their Gastronomy and Mixology Brochure. You will enjoy the Historical tour, the tonnelerie & VIP bar access, the tasting of ageing wines in L'Enclos, the guided tasting of the whole Noilly Prat collection and the Perfect Serve Demonstration and tasting.

Then, get on a boat for a visit of a shellfish farm on the shores of the Thau Lagoon, which is the largest lake in the Languedoc-Roussillon region; it is a natural marine environment. You will learn the shellfish farming and enjoy a dinner at the farm and taste of some oysters.

Day 4: Sète - Montpellier - Béziers - Pezenas

Pick up at your hotel by a private coach & your guide. Transfer to Montpellier for a guided walking tour of the city center. From the Comédie square to Canourgue or Peyrou square, through the maze of picturesque streets, discover medieval gems of Montpellier.

Then get on board on a barge for a cruise on the Canal du Midi. You will discover the Locks of Orb (the highest of the Canal du Midi), Pont du Canal sur Orb (the longest) and the locks of Fonserane, a masterpiece of creativity. On your way back, you will stop at Pézenas for a guided tour. This is an old medieval city, with its charming house facades and the sumptuous courtyard of private mansions. Not only known for its preserved Middle Ages architecture, Pézenas is also an Art and History city.

Day 5: Sète - Bize Minervois - Narbonne - Collioure

Arrived to Bize Minervois your adventure starts with a guided tour of the Olive Oil Farm “Oulibo” while which you will learn all the secrets of olive oil processing. Olive oil & olive tasting at the end.

After leaving Bize Minervois we drive to Narbonne. Visit of the Chateau de l'Hospitalet, situated in the heart of the Massif de la Clape and overlooking the Mediterranean. Chateau L'Hospitalet with its 1.000 ha of vineyards dates back to 1561, is a lively estate in tune with the grapevine, wine, art and Jazz life. Named European Winery of the Year by the magazine Wine Enthusiast, you will enjoy a wine tasting session in the cellar which offers you a range of more than 90 flagship wines from Gérard Bertrand, the wine ambassador for the South of France. You will pursue you tour by the Abbey of Fontfroide. On the foothills of the Corbières, the 12th Century site of the Abbey de Fontfroide is one of the most lavished and best preserved Cistercian abbey in France. The site includes a magnificent 3000 foot Rose Garden and a succession of Italian style terraced gardens.

Transfer to Collioure and settle your hotel where you will be accommodated for 2 nights.

Day 6 : Collioure - Banyuls - Ceret

Pick up at your hotel by a private coach with your driver who is also a qualified English speaking guide. We suggest you to discover a local market in the surroundings of Collioure. This charming village is the jewel of the 'Côte Vermeille', where the rocky coastline of the Pyrenees meets the Mediterranean. Already a haunt for painters at the turn of the last century, Collioure remains a favourite site for budding artists looking to recapture the magic of Matisse, Derain and other 'fauvists' who enjoyed the sea and light so particular to this coastline. Then, on to Banyuls, a beautiful old fishing village, with quaint narrow streets and excellent beaches. The steep slopes of the surrounding hills are covered with vineyards, producing natural sweet wines. After a visit to a wine domain with its cellar of hundred-year-old barrels destined for the cultivation of natural sweet wines and explanations of the methods of culture, you will taste the wines of the domain and some of the finest old vintages.

Your tour end by a guided visit at the Ceret Museum of modern art represents all of the 20th century's great artists in its collections as they passed through and stayed in the town and surrounding areas: Picasso, Braques, Chagall, Matisse, then Miro, Tàpies, Viaillat, Toni Grand from Cubism to the Paris School, New Realism to Touch-Surface.

Day 7: Collioure - Cap Creus - Cadaques

Pick up at your hotel by a private coach with your driver who is also a qualified English speaking guide on your way to Catalonia. With its marvellous beaches, its gastronomy recognized all around the world, its very strong culture and its very famous artists like Gaudi or Dali, Catalonia is one of the most appreciated places of Spain.

This morning, we suggest a walking tour to the Cap Creus nature reserve. This cap is the last outlet of the Pyrenees between sea and land and full of criques and rocks.

At lunch time you will discover the culinary specialities of Cadaques in a Catalan restaurant where you will taste the famous tapas.

This afternoon, your tour pursues with a guided visit of Cadaques, a traditional Mediterranean fishing village with steep cobbled streets, white-washed houses and surrounded by olive groves. It owes its notoriety to the artists who passed through and especially Salvador Dali who made it 'his village'.

Day 8: Cadaques - Figueres - Begur

Pick-up at your hotel by your private coach and your guide. On your way to Begur, you will stop at Figueres for a visit of the famous Dali museum. This museum is the most important surrealistic object of the world. You will be able to discover all Dali’s art from his beginning to his last creation. Arrival to Begur. With its history, its heritage, its medieval castle and its beaches, Begur is one of the most marvellous countrysides of Costa Brava. Admire Begur’s old town, home to numerous monuments left as legacies of significant moments in the town's history, together with its eight coves and small beaches, make it and its peerless natural surroundings an unbeatable place to visit. Also, you can enjoy the beautiful coastline view.
