But the city is more than just a gateway for this ancient nectar: it is a cultivated and charming city, elegantly placed on the Gironde estuary with the scent of the ocean pervading its wide and imposing avenues.

For a longer break we propose the option of a hire car with which you can visit the famous vineyards and explore the nearby Atlantic coastline.

Our 3* and 4* hotels are situated in the city centre - this marvellous old wine town lies at your feet. The package includes a guided tour of old Bordeaux on foot, in english and french. Details on arrival at the hotel. Optional visits to the vineyards with tastings are possible: we can reserve these for you.
