Cap d'Agde

Cap d'Agde is an extremely lively mediterranean resort town with a history going back over 2500 years to when a colony of greek traders established their foothold here. Built on a huge rocky outcrop with miles of sandy beaches to east and west the town has something for everyone: beaches, rocks, water sports and plenty of children's activities as well as the pleasures of a real french town - good food and drink and a certain 'savoir vivre'.

We suggest staying further down the coast in Gruissan where the beaches are better and accommodation cheaper and roomier
